Morph: A Unique Washbasin Inspired by Nature

Morph takes its inspiration from the morphological form of sea shells and the shape of a lotus when a water droplet falls on it. The result is a washbasin that resembles a lotus, with its edges corrugated and its shape asymmetrical. Each piece of Morph is unique, just like in nature, ensuring that no two pieces are the same.

Made from polyester resin and additional additives, Morph is not only visually stunning but also highly durable. The material is resistant to scratches and chemicals, making it a superior choice over traditional ceramic basins. The smooth surface of the basin adds to its cleanliness, while the unique shape prevents water droplets from splashing onto the user's clothes.

The production process of Morph involves pouring polyester resin into a mold, allowing for the creation of the intricate structure and texture of the basin. The result is a modern and elegant washbasin that adds a touch of sophistication to any bathroom.

With dimensions of 722mm in width, 395mm in depth, and 208mm in height, Morph is designed to fit seamlessly into any bathroom space. Its amorphous form and smooth texture make it a standout piece that will surely impress guests and elevate the overall aesthetic of the room.

The Morph project, led by Dimitrije Davidovic, started in June 2017 in Nis, Serbia. From initial sketches to the final 3D model, the design process took several months. The real model for human use was completed in October 2017 and was presented in Nis and Belgrade later that year.

Morph has received recognition for its outstanding design. In 2018, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Bathroom Furniture and Sanitary Ware Design category. This prestigious award is bestowed upon designs that exhibit strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
